About Dr. Karen Lam, D.TCM
Experienced TCM Practitioner and Integrative Healer
Dr. Karen Lam is a licensed acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner with over 25 years of clinical experience. She is a graduate of the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ICTCM) and practices an integrative, evidence-informed approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture.
Dr. Lam specializes in fertility, women’s health, pregnancy support, and healthy aging. Her practice includes acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, botanical and homeopathic medicine, stress reduction, dietary guidance, and functional assessment methods to support hormonal balance, reproductive health, and overall wellness. She provides care for individuals and couples navigating conception, prenatal and postpartum care, stress, fatigue, and chronic pain.

In addition to her general TCM and acupuncture practice, Dr. Lam is Integrative’s lead Rejuveness trainer and has extensive experience in facial rejuvenation and cosmetic acupuncture. She is one of a limited number of practitioners certified in Cosmetic Acupuncture Renewal, a specialized technique that combines Traditional Chinese Medicine principles with modern technology to support skin health, facial tone, vitality, and longevity. Her approach emphasizes whole-body balance rather than isolated aesthetic treatment.

Dr. Lam is a registered member of the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC) (formerly the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia) and the Acupuncturists and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of BC (ATCMA). She is also a member of the Acupuncture & Regeneration Injection Association of BC (ARIABC) and the Society of Acupuncture Injection Techniques (SAIT), and a past member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).

Dr. Karen Lam has been an Associate Practitioner at Integrative Naturopathic Medical Centre (INMC) since year 2000. Integrative, formerly called Integrative Healing Arts Centre, is one of the first and most successful multidisciplinary complementary health centres in Vancouver, British Columbia.
